ABOUT US

LOG CABIN OUTFITTERS PIERCELAND is a family owned operation ran in conjunction with our Beef Ranch (Duriez Ranching LTD.).  Our family consists of Brian , Lynnell and two sons,  Walker (16) and Dryden (12).  We are entering into the outfitting business with the help of some good people. First of all the expertise of our friends Mark and Carla Colliou has made the entire prospect of purchasing this large ranch property and being able to handle the outfitting side of it a reality. We also appreciate some good advice. Grant and Shelly Kuypers owner/operators of  Buck Paradise are good family friends and if you know Grant he's got some real experience to back him up.

We have raised beef cattle for  20+ years and enjoy the outdoors and the beauty of nature in its natural state. We carry on a beef cow/calf operation that has grazed forest and forest fringe areas for generations. The recent addition of outfitting to our operation enhances our sense of appreciation for this wondrous resource. As a family we enjoy 4 - wheeling and horseback riding through the forested back country. Our family has been raised around animals and rough ground. 

The recent purchase of a new Ranch near Pierceland, Saskatchewan made in the early part of 2007 has us into the outfitting business and we are overjoyed to have Mark (former guide at Buck Paradise) and Carla Colliou joining us to help tackle this new venture.

Mark and Carla are a big part of our family and without them and their knowledge of the outfitting business we would be pretty strapped.  Mark and Carla are quite excited as they will be living on the site of the Ranch and Log Cabin Outfitters Pierceland  Camp headquarters.  Mark as well as Carla take great pleasure in working with ranch animals and just plain enjoying the outdoors.  They are great people with great stories due to their very diverse and well traveled experiences.
